March 17: Simple Lenten Meals (Washington, DC)

March 15, 2017

The Social Justice Committee at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle in Washington, DC invites you for fellowship & reflection during this time of Lent. Every Friday, following the Stations of the Cross at 6pm, there will be a simple meal and presentation from different charitable organizations. The Meal begins at about 6:30pm.  Different groups from various parish ministries will prepare and serve a simple meal of meatless soup, bread, and water. Charitable organizations are invited to present on their mission and the services they provide to our neighbors in need. The donations collected during every meal will be offered to that evening’s presenter.

On Friday, March 17, CMN will be joining the community at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle as that evening’s presenter. For more information, please click here
