CMN and the Texas Coaltion to Abolish the Death Penalty co-sponsored a “Religious Leaders Dialogue on the Death Penalty” at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas on October 24, 2011. The event was moderated by CMN Executive Director Karen Clifton. Leaders from the following institutions also attended: the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of San Antonio; Mission Presbytery; the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas; the Evangelical Lutheran Church -  Southwestern Texas Synod; Temple Beth-El; and the United Methodist Southwest Texas Conference.
