We are excited to begin the Ninth season of the Dead Man Walking School Theatre Project. To date, over 10 schools have signed on to explore the issue of the death penalty on and off the stage this year. We are looking forward to productions at Dowling Catholic High School in Des Moines, Iowa; George Washington High School in San Francisco, Calif.; Brighton High School in Rochester, New York; and the joint production between Crespi Carmelite and Louisville High Schools in Eninco, California. Mayfield Senior School in Pasadena, California, will produce the female version of the play that is available to all-girls schools across the country.
It’s not too late to sign your school up for the 2012-2013 season. We invite all high schools and colleges to join Sister Helen Prejean, CSJ in the national discourse about the death penalty.
