Maria Teresa is an organizational psychologist focusing on leadership development and facilitation of collaborative decision-making. She directs Foundations of Christian Leadership with Leadership Education at Duke Divinity based in Durham, North Carolina.
Originally from Havana, Maria Teresa’s experience includes organizing and accompaniment work with immigrant agricultural workers in Florida, directing a university service and justice ministry, facilitating participatory planning for NGOs, and teaching and coaching community leaders.
