Fr. Chris Ponnet is pastor of St. Camillus Center in Los Angeles and chaplain at LAC USC Medical Center, Keck and Norris. He has been on Death Penalty Focus and California People of Faith boards for many years and founder of CADP Catholic Against the Death Penalty and Pax Christi So Cal co-chair. Fr Chris has been part of rallies and prayer services since California began executions after the national pause. Fr Chris is chaplain to inmates at LAC USC Medical Center and Eastlake Juvenile Hall. Fr Chris was ordained a diocesan Catholic Priest in 1983 and has been pastor/chaplain at St. Camillus since 1994. He has testified in sentence hearing of a death penalty case helping the young man to get LWOP.  #truthsetsyoufree
