David McCallum, S.J., Ed.D is a Jesuit priest who serves as the Vice President for Mission Integration and Development at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY. He also serves as the founding Executive Director of the Program for Discerning Leadership, a special project of the International Association of Jesuit Universities and the General Curia of the Society of Jesus. The Program provides leadership formation for senior Vatican officials and major superiors of religious orders in Rome, Italy. Fr. McCallum serves as a facilitator for mission driven, personal and organizational development programs, provides developmentally informed executive coaching, and delivers leadership development programs and spiritual retreats internationally. He co-founded the Contemplative Leaders in Action program (CLA), an initiative of the Office for Ignatian Spirituality, as well as the Global Jesuit Case Series. Fr. McCallum’s education includes a bachelor’s degree in English, Integral Honors, from Le Moyne College, a Masters degree in philosophical resources from Fordham University, a MDiv and a Licentiate degree in Theology from the Weston Jesuit School of Theology (now the Boston College School of Theology and Ministry), and a doctoral degree in the field of learning and leadership from Columbia University, Teachers College. His research interests include adult learning and development, group relations, leadership and organizational development, mission integration, and spiritual maturation.
