As of January 2020, Joel has taken on the role of Outreach Manager for Bridges To Life, overseeing program activity in our many non-Texas regions, and continues to manage projects within the Dallas area. Joel’s passion for prison ministry developed as he obtained a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice. After a successful 10-year career with AT&T, he turned his attention to full-time ministry for the incarcerated. Joel began as a BTL volunteer in 2016 and joined the Bridges To Life staff in 2018. Joel’s wife, Naomi, is also a BTL volunteer. Their shared passions for Bible study, fitness, motorcycle racing, and prison ministry are foundational to their relationship.
