Saturday, October 31, 2020 - 8:30pm to 9:30pm

Featured Talks Include:

David Karp on "The University of San Diego: Striving to be a Restorative Catholic University"

In this presentation, I will talk about USD’s efforts to become a restorative university and a model for other Catholic campuses. Restorative universities can be engines of innovation and social change for our larger society by teaching RJ to students, modeling how to be a restorative community, and contributing to RJ theory and empirical research.

David Kelly on "Cultivating a Culture of Hope: a Restorative Justice Approach to Healing and Reconciliation"

By embracing a restorative justice lens, transformation becomes possible and trauma and pain are not the final word. Restorative justice creates spaces where both the person harmed and the one who has caused harm can experience peace and reconciliation.
