Sean Horrigan, Ph.D. is the Director of University Centers and Staff Development in the Division of Student Affairs and is a Lecturer in the Department of Leadership Studies at the University of San Diego. Dr. Horrigan has taught graduate and undergraduate level courses in leadership theory, organizational change, adult development, and group dynamics. He has also taught seminars in higher education leadership and has served as a staff consultant on numerous leadership conferences taught in the group relations tradition. As a scholar-practitioner in higher education Dr. Horrigan engages in opportunities to promote reflection, meaning-making, and values clarification for students who are struggling with the difficult choices and big questions presented by the college experience. He has provided oversight for a portfolio of student programs and services including residential life, student conduct and Title IX, restorative justice and conflict resolution, crisis management, graduate student affairs, student activities and leadership, facility management, and professional staff training.
