A Catholic native of Grand Rapids, Tricia holds a BA in Theology and Communications from Aquinas College. Tricia has served the Diocese of Grand Rapids for 12 years. In her current role as diocesan director of Prison and Jail Ministry, Tricia trains and oversees more than 100 volunteers who serve in 21 correctional facilities throughout the diocese. She organizes 46 weekly services in the correctional facilities including Masses, Communion services, Bible studies and RCIA classes. In addition, Tricia developed and oversees the diocesan re-entry program, GROW which assists individuals returning from prison in finding a faith community. Tricia’s Catholic faith helps foster, and care for, her serving heart. Tricia’s Catholic faith provides her the grace and strength to journey hopefully through her triumphs and trials including epilepsy, numerous brain surgeries and the loss of her sister to suicide. Tricia and her husband Jeremy have been happily married for 20 years and are the proud parents of four children.
