Join Catholics from across Ohio on Wednesday, Oct. 13 for a Virtual Prayer Vigil calling for an end to Ohio's death penalty.
Vigil participants will join in praying for life-affirming alternatives to capital punishment and learn about the ways that Catholic Ohioans can take action to support death penalty repeal efforts in the Buckeye State.
The Ohio Virtual Prayer Vigil falls during the Catholic Church's Respect Life Month and Ohio's first Death Penalty Abolition Week for Ohio Faith Communities (October 8-17, 2021). Hosted by the Social Action Office of the Diocese of Cleveland and Catholic Mobilizing Network.
We will be joined by Sister Sally Duffy, SC, a Sister of Charity of Cincinnati since 1977 and former President/CEO of the SC Ministry Foundation. Sally currently serves on the boards of TriHealth System, Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc., U.S. Catholic Sisters Against Human Trafficking, Ohio Justice and Policy Center, and Price Hill Will.
Wednesday, Oct. 13 | 7-8 p.m. EDT
