Featured Speakers:

Terri Steinberg: She was your average "mom," coaching, cheerleading, and driving a minivan. She was taught to respect life and believed that meant all life. She had never given the death penalty much thought because it did not make any sense to kill another human being. And like most, she also did nothing about it. That was then.

Emma Tacke, Associate Director of Community Engagement for Catholic Mobilizing Network:  Emma Tacke serves as the Associate Director of Community Engagement for Catholic Mobilizing Network, the national Catholic organization working to end the use of the death penalty and promote restorative justice. Emma facilitates relationship building between the larger death penalty movement and Catholic Church leadership. As a lifelong Catholic with a passion for social justice, Emma is thrilled to motivate and support advocates all over the country to end the death penalty. Previously, after graduating with a bachelor's degree in Political Science and Gender Studies from the College of Saint Benedict, Emma moved to Seattle, Washington for a year of service with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps. Upon completing JVC NW Emma spent a year with NETWORK Lobby in Washington D.C. working for social and economic issues as a Grassroots Mobilization Associate.
