November is National Native American Heritage Month, an annual opportunity to pay tribute to the rich ancestry and traditions of Native Americans.

The roots of our present-day philosophy and practices of restorative justice are firmly planted in the traditions and culture of Indigenous peoples. This Native American Heritage Month, we honor and uplift our Indigenous brothers and sisters who model for all of us a reconciling way of being in relationship with God, one another, and creation.
