Rafal joined CMN in January 2022 as its Development Manager. In this position, he builds a community of dedicated donors who want to contribute to the reform of the broken criminal justice system by supporting CMN’s mission to end the death penalty and promote restorative justice. He brings over eight years of experience in relationship management in non-profit, legal, and business settings. Previously, as a fundraiser, he was responsible for acquiring funds for Polish Humanitarian Action, the biggest Polish humanitarian organization, and for the Polish Province of the Order of Preachers. In the years 2015-2016, he organized a successful project that provided financial aid and voluntary service for the persecuted Christian minority in Iraq. For seven years, Rafal was a member of the Dominican Order. The time of his religious formation provided him with greater understanding of the Catholic Church and Catholic theology, especially in the area of Catholic social teaching. Rafal holds a master's degree in theology from the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow and in law from Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Krakow University. He lives with his wife in Columbia, Maryland. They are members of St. Louis Parish in nearby Clarksville.
