STOP the Execution of Frank Walls
Please contact Governor Ron DeSantis and the Florida Board of Clemency, urging them to grant clemency to Frank Walls, and stop his execution.
Florida intends to execute Frank Walls on December 18, 2025 for the 1987 murder of Ann Louise Peterson.
We oppose this execution as we do every execution. Capital punishment is an act of state sanctioned violence that violates the sacred dignity of every human life. In the words of Saint Pope John Paul II, “The dignity of human life must never be taken away, even in the case of someone who has done great evil.”
Frank lives with an intellectual disability. Under longstanding constitutional principles and basic human decency, people with intellectual disabilities should not be executed. Moving forward despite this reality raises grave concerns about fairness, legality, and the integrity of Florida’s justice system.
Florida has carried out 17 executions through November 2025 — by far the most executions out of any state this year and the most in one year in Florida history. Please contact Gov. DeSantis and the Florida Board of Executive Clemency today, and urge them to stop Frank Walls’s execution and this spree of state-sanctioned death.
