STOP the Execution of James Ford

Please contact Governor Ron DeSantis and urge him to do everything in his power to stop the execution of James Ford.

Florida intends to execute James Ford on February 13, 2025 for the 1997 murders of Greg and Kimberly Malnory.

James’ young life was marred by abuse, neglect, and addiction. Psychological testing has revealed that James’ mental functioning is similar to that of an 11-14 year old child. IQ testing performed when he was a child suggests that James should be considered intellectually disabled and therefore unfit for execution.

James’ death sentence is the product of Florida’s broken and arbitrary system of capital punishment. It is notable that he was sentenced by a non-unanimous jury, something that is barred in most states throughout the U.S.

In the three decades James has spent on death row, he has not caused violence. He can be safely housed in prison for the remainder of his natural life.

Contact Gov. DeSantis today and urge him to stop the execution of James Ford.
