David M. McCarthy is the Associate Provost at Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, MD. Until 2016, he was the Fr. Forker Professor on Catholic Social Teaching. In those days, with Vicki Schieber and Trudy Conway, David worked with the Catholic Mobilizing Network on projects, conferences, and books on abolishing the death penalty and on developing restorative justice programs.
