Rev. Dr. Andrea Travers is an experienced writer, program developer, director, volunteer coordinator, communicator, and systems thinker with a passion for implementing and expanding social justice programs. Five years ago she worked with Deacon Jim Walsh to introduce Insight Prison Project Victim Offender Education (VOEG) Programs to 3 prisons in English and Spanish including the first programs for men with sex offenses; and co-authored a Restorative Justice Reentry Prep curriculum for San Diego County jails. Last year she implemented the first Circle of Support and Accountability (COSA) in San Diego County for an SVP conditional release individual from Coalinga State Hospital who is re-entering the community.
