Andra’ Robinson

Andra’ Robinson is a Human Rights Fellow at the Center for the Advancement of Human Rights at Florida State University, where his work explores the intersections of reentry, accompaniment, and systems change. A former legal intern with the Equal Justice Initiative, he contributed to legal advocacy and public education efforts aimed at addressing the root causes of mass incarceration.

He currently serves on the Leon County Sheriff’s Citizen Advisory Council, where he helps inform local justice practices with an emphasis on community engagement and reintegration. Drawing from his own experience of incarceration, Andra’ brings a deeply personal perspective to his advocacy and scholarship.

He is currently developing an autoethnography examining the decarceration practices of reentry organizations, grounded in the belief that dignity, belonging, and relational support are essential to successful reintegration. As a national speaker, he offers insights that blend lived experience, policy engagement, and a vision for transformative justice.
