Lisa Moultrie
Lisa Moultrie has served as the Deputy Chief Assistant District Attorney of the Diversion and Community Alternatives Program Unit with DeKalb County District Attorney Sherry Boston’s Office since 2017. In this role, she designs, implements, and supervises pre-charging Diversion Programs and other alternatives to traditional criminal justice processes. Her team administers four prosecution-led diversion programs, facilitates community engagement and training, and supports reentry efforts in handling petitions for relief from the collateral consequences of a criminal conviction.
Lisa has more than 20 years of legal and criminal justice experience, has been involved with Accountability and Treatment Courts since 2006, and has focused on prosecution-led diversion since 2012. Creating smart alternatives to criminal litigation is Lisa’s passion. She envisions a justice system that better serves the victims of crime, enhances community safety, and allows those who commit harm to make amends and rehabilitate their good standing in the community.
Outside of professional servant-leadership Lisa is an avid volunteer and civic engagement leader. She’s a former President of Junior League of DeKalb County, GA, an alumnus of the Gwinnett County Government LEAD Academy, Leadership DeKalb class of 2020, and the Prosecution Leaders of Now Executive Program. Lisa serves as Board Chair of COR Inc, an organization disrupting race and poverty-based inequities one student, one family, one school, and one community at a time.
