Conversations in Communion: Hispanic/Latino Ministry Leaders Cohort (in English)

October 1 @ 12:00 pm October 22 @ 3:00 pm EDT

This October, Catholic Mobilizing Network will host a special focused training cohort with Hispanic/Latino Ministry Leaders. We hope that you will join us!

Conversations in Communion: Parish Dialogues for Connection and Understanding is a formation program that equips Catholics to foster a culture of encounter, listening, and discernment through the restorative practice of circle process. The facilitator guide and virtual training prepare leaders to plan, introduce, and facilitate these synodal processes throughout ministry life.

You’ll come away from this training with:

  • Concrete guidance for crafting various types of synodal circle processes
  • Your own completed plan for hosting a Conversation in Communion
  • And fresh ideas for building relationships, support, and openness to participation.

Who is it for?

This training is ideal for lay, religious, and ordained ministry leaders who wish to foster a spirit of Synodality in and with the Latino/Hispanic communities they lead. It is best suited for individuals who are currently active in a parish, diocesan, or community-based ministry group.

“[F]aith formation is driven by missionary encounters and proclamation of the kerygma, leading to communion and participation. Relating faith to life experience and pastoral context… is understood as the key to unlock a lifelong process of deepening understanding of the faith and a commitment to live it in daily life.”

“As the People of God journeying together, we are called to accompany one another. To do so, all of the faithful, particularly pastors and other pastoral leaders, are called to master the ‘art of accompaniment’.”
