STOP the Execution of Anthony T. Boyd
Please contact Governor Kay Ivey urging her to grant clemency to Anthony T. Boyd, and stop his execution.
Alabama intends to execute Anthony T. Boyd on October 23, 2025 for the 1993 murder of Gregory Huguley.
We oppose this execution as we do every execution. Capital punishment is an act of state-sanctioned violence that violates the sacred dignity of every human life. In the words of Saint Pope John Paul II, “The dignity of human life must never be taken away, even in the case of someone who has done great evil.”
Anthony has taken on leadership roles while incarcerated, and serves as the chairman of the organization Project Hope to Abolish the Death Penalty. Founded and run by individuals incarcerated in Alabama in 1989, the organization works together with friends and supporters to educate the public and bring about the abolition of the death penalty in Alabama.
Contact Gov. Ivey today and urge her to do everything in her power to stop the execution of Anthony T. Boyd.
