STOP the Execution of Bryan Jennings
Please contact Governor Ron DeSantis urging him to stop the execution of Bryan Jennings.
Florida plans to execute Bryan Jennings on November 13, 2025 for the 1979 murder of Rebecca Kunash.
We oppose this execution as we do every execution. Capital punishment is an act of state sanctioned violence that violates the sacred dignity of every human life. In the words of Pope Saint John Paul II, “The dignity of human life must never be taken away, even in the case of someone who has done great evil.”
At the time of his crime, Bryan was a 20-year-old US Marine. He has spent 45 years on Florida’s death row.
Bryan was left for years without state-appointed counsel, a violation of state law guaranteeing representation for death-sentenced individuals. Bryan had no legal representation when his death warrant was signed, and ultimately received newly appointed counsel days later, a matter of weeks before his scheduled execution.
Florida has already carried out 15 executions this year alone. Please contact Gov. DeSantis today and urge him to stop this spree of state-sanctioned death.
