Conversations in Communion: CSJ Associates

This January, CSJ Associates and Catholic Mobilizing Network will host a special focused training cohort of Conversations in Communion. We hope that you will join us!
As CSJ Associates, we are called to be instruments of unity and love. As promoters of communion, we are positioned to educate all people on the issues and needs of those less fortunate. We do so through service and a restorative justice lens.
Conversations in Communion: Parish Dialogues for Connection and Understanding is a formation program that equips individuals to foster a culture of encounter, listening, and discernment through the restorative practice of circle process. The facilitator guide and virtual training prepare leaders to plan, introduce, and facilitate these synodal processes throughout ministry life.
You’ll come away from this training with:
- Concrete guidance for crafting various types of synodal circle processes
- Your own completed plan for hosting a Conversation in Communion
- And fresh ideas for building relationships, support, and openness to participation.
Who is it for?
This training is ideal for CSJ Associates who wish to foster a spirit of Synodality in and with the communities where they live, minister, and lead. It is best suited for individuals who are currently active in a parish, diocesan, or community-based ministry group.

Event Details
DATES: Tuesdays, January 13, 20, & 27
TIME: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. ET | 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. CT | 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. PT
LOCATION: Virtual via Zoom. The event will not be recorded.
REGISTRATION COST: Free! The cost of the registration is gifted to us through the CSJ Department of Environmental and Social Justice.
This workshop is participatory. Please make sure to attend the entirety of the event.
Training Facilitation Team
Facilitated by fellow Catholic Ministry Leaders, this virtual training includes 9 hours of synodal formation, skill building, and tools for getting started.
