November 21 @ 12:00 pm 1:00 pm EST

Join us for this hands-on Community Café, where we’ll practice, learn, and encourage one another as we prepare to facilitate Conversations in Communion or circle processes.

In this peer-feedback practice session, participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Try out a circle process outline designed for a parish or ministry
  • Observe and learn from different facilitation styles in a supportive, peer-based environment
  • Offer and receive constructive feedback in small breakout groups

Date: Friday, November 21, 2025
Time: 12-1 p.m. ET | 11 a.m.-12 p.m. CT | 9-10 a.m. PT
Location: Virtual via Zoom (this session will not be recorded)

Community Cafés are free monthly gatherings hosted by CMN’s
RJ Ministry Community of Practice. They’re designed for people implementing restorative justice practices and circle process in their ministries and communities.

Together, we’ll explore what makes a circle experience both prayerful and practical for ministry.

Participants will leave with new insights, deeper confidence in hosting circles, and refined circle outline samples that will be shared with all attendees afterward.

Everyone is welcome—with curiosity, openness, and encouragement for others. As the Synod reminds us, “walking together as the People of God requires spaces of listening, dialogue, and mutual discernment.” This gathering offers one of those spaces.
