Featured Presenter

Felix Rosado is cofounder of Let’s Circle Up, a restorative justice (RJ) project he helped build while fighting a death by incarceration sentence at Graterford State Prison. In 2022, Felix narrowly escaped that fate via governor clemency after 27 years. While inside, he also held leadership roles with the Alternatives to Violence Project and Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program, earned a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Villanova University, cofounded the Coalition to Abolish Death By Incarceration, and served as a hospice caregiver. He is author of Justice from the Inside Up: A Restorative Justice Education Facilitator’s Manual (Living Justice Press 2024).
Now residing in southwest Philadelphia, Felix serves as Program Manager of Healing Futures, a youth RJ diversion program with the Youth Art & Self-empowerment Project, and teaches RJ at Chestnut Hill College and Community College of Philadelphia. Grounded in Catholic social teaching and Franciscan spirituality, he works tirelessly to create a society where no human is caged and the dignity of all is recognized and valued, without exception. HIs proudest title, however, is dad. Jubilee, born a week shy of his two-year freedom anniversary, inspires him daily to fight for the world she and all people deserve.
