Bill Casey
Bill currently serves as an RJ facilitator and mentor with the Restorative Arlington Heart of Safety Program, an initiative launched in 2020 to implement a wide variety of restorative practices in Arlington County courts, schools and the community. He has been a consultant to this initiative in a variety of roles since the beginning. In 2022, he participated in a comprehensive RJ training program with Impact Justice.
Bill has also been an RJ facilitator, mentor and program coordinator for the Northern Virginia Mediation Service since its inception in 2014. The program provides RJ services to the Fairfax County Police, Juvenile Court, and Schools. He is also a Virginia state- certified mediator.
Bill worked for 34 years in Federal Government executive and management positions where he was responsible for managing a wide variety of employment programs. He ended his professional career in 2004. He received a B.A. (Philosophy) from Villanova University, an M.A. (Theology) from Augustinian College in Washington, D.C., and a Master’s Degree (Public Administration) from the University of Southern California. Bill and his wife Kristine reside in Alexandria, Virginia. He has been married for 50 years and has three children and three grandchildren.
Bill is a founding member of the RJ ministry at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Arlington, Virginia.
