Dave McNaughton
Dave McNaughton is the Conference President of the Society of St. Vincent DePaul at St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish on the Far NWS of Chicago, and Board Member of the Pope Francis Center, a special works project of the St. Vincent DePaul Society. He also served on the board of the Society’s Archdiocesan Council in Chicago. Dave was a police officer for the Chicago Police Department for 25 years, serving in all the ranks and retiring as a Deputy Chief, he first became involved in Restorative Justice work by serving as the CPD liaison for the first Community Violence Intervention (CVI) organization in Chicago. Upon retirement he maintained his interest and involvement in nonviolence and community work, being trained as a Circlekeeper by CMN at Precious Blood Ministry in Chicago, and continues working with peace circles as a member of the Restorative Justice Community Court of Cook County. Dave was responsible for bringing One Parish One Prisoner to the parish as a ministry and serves on the parish OPOP team.
