Lindy Brasher

Lindy Brasher serves as the University Minister for Social Justice at Loyola University New Orleans, where she leads efforts to engage students in critical issues of justice, including education and advocacy to end the death penalty. She collaborates closely with campus partners to foster a culture of reflection, solidarity, and action rooted in the Jesuit tradition.

Jesuit-educated and formed in the Catholic theological and spiritual tradition at Loyola University New Orleans and Fordham University, Lindy brings both academic depth and pastoral experience to her ministry. For the past four years, she has served as a spiritual advisor to men on Death Row in Louisiana, offering accompaniment and care in the face of profound suffering. Her commitment to justice is grounded in the belief that every person bears the image of God and that true transformation begins with compassionate presence.
