Lucie Martinot-Lagarde M.A.
Lucie, a native of France, is a bilingual social impact leader with over 15 years of international experience in France and the U.S., spanning government, Catholic ministry, and civil society. She joined CMN in 2022 as a Program Associate and has since grown into the role of Senior Restorative Justice Program Manager. In this capacity, she leads national initiatives that educate and equip Catholics and interfaith partners in restorative justice and healing practices. She designs and facilitates trauma-informed, culturally responsive trainings, stewards the 700-member Restorative Justice Ministry Community of Practice, and supports strategic networks working to advance justice and repair.
Lucie also leads CMN’s racial justice delegations to Montgomery and Selma, Alabama. Since 2024, she has led 10 delegations, bringing over 250 national Catholic faith leaders, including Bishops, to engage with the deep truths of the U.S.’s history of racial harm through immersive and transformative experiences.
Lucie holds an MA in Conflict Transformation from Eastern Mennonite University’s Center for Justice & Peacebuilding, where she focused on restorative practices in public education, as well as an MA in Public Administration from Sciences Po Paris and a Canonical Baccalaureate in Philosophy from Facultés Loyola Paris. Across all her work, she is animated by a commitment to human dignity and systemic change, using faith-rooted, relational approaches to address harm, foster accountability, and build a more just and compassionate world.
