Nancy Fontenot

Nancy Fontenot is a Restorative Justice practitioner in Lower Alabama. After 30 years as a Catholic high school English teacher, she retired in 2022 to follow a call to justice-centered ministry. She serves her local parish as an adult faith-formation minister, facilitating restorative practice circles for catechesis and spiritual reflection, and as coordinator of the parish peace and justice ministry, Faith in Action. Nancy also partners with Ransom Solutions in community-building work supporting returning citizens. She is currently in the candidacy phase of discernment with the Secular Franciscan Order.
