STOP the Execution of Charles Thompson

Please contact Governor Greg Abbott and the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles urging them to grant clemency to Charles Thompson, and stop his execution.

Texas intends to execute Charles Thompson on January 28 for the 1999 murder of Dennise Hayslip and Darren Cain.

We oppose this execution as we do every execution. Capital punishment is an act of state sanctioned violence that violates the sacred dignity of every human life. In the words of Saint Pope John Paul II, “The dignity of human life must never be taken away, even in the case of someone who has done great evil.”

Contact Gov. Abbott and the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles today and urge them to stop the execution of Charles Thompson.
