Robert Vigil is a Native New Mexican, ordained deacon, and Director of the Office of Pastoral Outreach for the Archdiocese of Santa Fe. He is involved in the Archdiocese's detention ministry, and also ministers to people living with disabilities (Deaf Circle) and senior citizens (Blessings of Age), among others. 

He is the chair of the Roundtable Association of Catholic Diocesan Social Action Directors, a Global Fellow Ambassador Educator for Catholic Relief Services, and a chaplain at the University of New Mexico Hospital.

Deacon Robert has been married for 34 years and has three children.
