An innocent man who was sentenced to death, parents of a murder victim, and a legislator who wants to end the death penalty will share their personal experiences.

Vicki and Syl Schieber’s daughter, Shannon, was murdered by the Center City Rapist in Philadelphia. Their personal tragedy moved them to travel across the country advocating for abolition of the death penalty.
Kirk Bloodsworth:
Kirk Bloodsworth was wrongfully convicted and sentenced to death for the murder of nine-year-old Dawn Hamilton. He spent over eight years on death row before the emerging science of DNA fingerprinting proved that he was not the killer.
The Honorable Frank Ryan:
The Honorable Frank Ryan represents the 101st Legislative District of Pennsylvania. Representative Ryan has sponsored a bill to end capital punishment in the state.
