Giving Tuesday is a day of global giving where people across the United States support their favorite charities and nonprofits. It always occurs the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving, which this year falls on November 28th. This year, Facebook is helping supporters like you DOUBLE your impact.
Starting at 8am EST on Giving Tuesday, all donations given on Catholic Mobilizing Network's Facebook page will be MATCHED dollar for dollar.
Here are 3 things you can do right now to prepare for this incredible opportunity:
- "Like" CMN on Facebook. This means you are more likely to see CMN's posts on Giving Tuesday (and throughout the year). Since only donations given on Facebook will count towards the match, this step is critical!
- Consider creating a fundraiser for Catholic Mobilizing Network on Giving Tuesday. Facebook will match the first $1000 you raise! If you are interested but need help setting this up, contact Daniel at 202-541-5290 or daniel@catholicsmobilizing.org.
- Set your alarm. Facebook will only match the first $2 million given on Giving Tuesday, starting at 8am EST. The earlier you give, the higher the chance of your full contribution being matched dollar for dollar!
