About the Conference

Pope Francis' vision to minister to those on the margins is an important anchor for our dialogue. Together we will:

  • Build a shared understanding of our broken criminal justice system and the theological underpinning of the Catholic call to restorative justice.
  • Encounter opportunities for deeper engagement of Catholic ministry and evangelization in transforming harm and violence in our country.
  • Empower Catholics and all people of good will to transform the brokenness caused by the U.S. criminal justice system.
