Wednesday, April 25, 2018 - 8:30am

Catholic Mobilizing Network's new book Redemption and Restoration: A Catholic Perspective on Restorative Justice offers an in depth look at our nation's broken criminal justice system and how our Catholic faith calls us to respond. Free and open to all, this one day event will gather Catholics from throughout the country to learn more about restorative justice and contribute to a national conversation on ways to lift it up in the Church.

Pope Francis' vision to minister to those on the margins is an important anchor for our dialogue. Together we will:

  • Build a shared understanding of our broken criminal justice system and the theological underpinning of the Catholic call to restorative justice.
  • Encounter opportunities for deeper engagement of Catholic ministry and evangelization in transforming harm and violence in our country.
  • Empower Catholics and all people of good will to transform the brokenness caused by the U.S. criminal justice system.

The conference will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, in the Pryzbyla Center at the Catholic University of America. RSVP information coming soon. For more information, email
